The Apex Legends team recently announced they had terminated their contracts with BLEED, an unusual move typically initiated by the organization. Team member Dropped explained the decision in a tweet, confirming that the team had not received their payments. The players are now free agents seeking a new organization for upcoming tournaments.
Rainbow 6 Team Follows Suit
Just two days earlier, BLEED’s Rainbow 6: Siege team also terminated their contracts, citing similar reasons. The squad has rebranded as “BLED” and hopes to compete in the 2025 Invitational, pending Ubisoft’s decision.
Past Departures and Ongoing Issues
In October 2024, BLEED’s Counter-Strike team made similar accusations and renamed themselves “Unpaid” after leaving the organization. Prominent players, including yay, have hinted at internal problems within BLEED but refrained from providing specifics.
Further controversies surround BLEED’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team. Reports claim the organization abandoned the team during a bootcamp in Singapore, leaving the players stranded and unable to return to the Philippines.
