ESL One Birmingham 2024 is poised to be the second major event in the Dota 2 esports calendar for the year 2024, featuring some of the world’s top teams. Here’s everything we know about the event thus far.
Twelve teams from around the globe will compete at ESL One Birmingham, vying for the lion’s share of the $1 million prize pool and a significant amount of ESL Pro Tour points. This tournament marks the second major event in the Dota 2 esports calendar for 2024 and the fourth in the second season of the ESL Pro Tour.
The competition will comprise four teams invited based on their placement on the EPT leaderboard and eight teams who fought through regional qualifiers.

ESL ONE BIRMINGHAM 2024: STREAM
ESL One Birmingham 2024 will be streamed on ESL channels on Twitch and YouTube. The embedded channel is provided below for easy access. Additionally, the tournament will feature multiple streams to accommodate simultaneous matches during the early stages.
ESL ONE BIRMINGHAM 2024: SCHEDULE & BRACKET
ESL One Birmingham bracket and schedule are yet to be fully released. The tournament kicks off on April 22 and concludes on April 28. The tournament structure consists of Group Stage and Playoff Stage matches:

ESL ONE BIRMINGHAM 2024: FORMAT
The tournament follows a classic Dota 2 format, featuring two single round-robin groups comprising six teams each. Each series will consist of two games.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the third and fourth-placed teams from each group will move on to the lower bracket.
The Playoff Stage will adopt a double-elimination bracket format. All matches, except the Grand Final, will be best-of-three, with the final matchup being a best-of-five.
