Terry Prestjord’s Return to ATP Tudelano: A Strategic Futsal Transfer

Futsal Transfer News: Terry Prestjord Joins ATP Tudelano

ATP Tudelano has completed a significant transfer by signing Brazilian left-wing player Terry Prestjord from Movistar Inter. The club, led by Ramón Lázaro, has made a strategic move in the winter futsal market that is drawing attention across the league.

Prestjord has signed a contract with ATP Tudelano that runs until 2026, with the Ribera de Navarra club paying a transfer fee of 20,000 euros to secure his release. This transaction allows Movistar Inter to fully recoup the investment they made when originally signing the player in June 2023.

The player’s history with Tudelano is notably impressive. During his previous three seasons with the club, Prestjord established himself as a prolific scorer, netting an remarkable 70 goals. However, his recent stint with Movistar Inter has been less successful. Despite scoring 18 goals in the previous season, he struggled to find the net in the current campaign with the league leaders.

Prestjord’s futsal journey

Prestjord’s futsal journey has been diverse, having played for five different First Division teams over the past decade, including Jumilla, Servigroup Peñíscola, Albali Valdepeñas, Tudelano, and Movistar Inter. His return to Tudelano comes after limited playing time under coach Alberto Riquer, which prompted his move.

The transfer effectively fills the gap left by Joselito, who recently terminated his contract to join HMNK Rijeka in Croatia. Additionally, ATP Tudelano has also secured Cristian Rubio from Jaén Paraíso Interior on a short-term deal to bolster their squad.

Movistar Inter will now rely on young talents Eloy de Pablos, Sergio Barona, and Carlos Bartolomé to cover the left-wing position. The club’s sports management, led by César Muñoz, continues to monitor both national and international markets for potential reinforcements before the transfer window closes.

For ATP Tudelano, this transfer represents a crucial step in their efforts to avoid relegation, while for Prestjord, it marks a return to a club where he previously demonstrated his considerable scoring abilities.
