Sporting will snatch Mati Rosa from Jaén by paying his clause

Jaén Paraíso Interior Faces Critical Winter Transfer Window

The winter transfer window could bring significant changes to Jaén Paraíso Interior, with the club potentially losing key players rather than strengthening its squad. Following last week’s departure of Chino to Latvia’s RFS, another major exit may be imminent as star player Mati Rosa attracts serious interest from abroad.

Portuguese champions Sporting CP have emerged as strong contenders for Rosa’s signature. The Lisbon-based club is reportedly prepared to trigger the Argentine center’s release clause, offering him a contract extending through this season plus three additional years. This interest comes as Sporting looks to fill the void left by Brazilian Allan Guilherme, who is sidelined for the remainder of the season with a severe knee injury.

Rosa, at 29, has established himself as one of futsal’s most sought-after talents. His previous commitment to Jaén, signing through 2027, came despite interest from Kazakhstan’s Kairat Almaty. He also declined moves to both Riga and Palma Futsal in recent months, with the latter ultimately securing Brazilian player Charuto instead.

the money

The financial terms of Rosa’s potential transfer are significant. While his release clause stands at 70,000 euros, this figure could drop to 50,000 euros based on salary conditions in his new contract. Reports suggest negotiations with Sporting are advancing rapidly.

Sporting’s transfer strategy appears to be evolving, having already secured Felipe Valerio for the upcoming season. The Portuguese side might create room for Rosa by parting ways with Brazilian player Tatinho, who has struggled to find his place in coach Nuno Días’ system since joining last year.

This situation has prompted Jaén’s sporting director Nicolás Sabariego to begin searching for replacements. The club has already approached Eric Panés, currently on loan at Poland’s Rekord, though negotiations have proven unsuccessful. Recent squad movements include Cristian Rubio’s departure to ATP Tudelano and Attos’s return following his stint at Noia Portus Apostoli.

The potential loss of Rosa, who has netted 13 goals in 14 league appearances this season, would pose a significant challenge for manager Dani Rodríguez. With just 11 days remaining in the transfer window, the club faces the difficult task of securing both a left-handed wing and a right-handed center in an already limited market.

Fernando Trindade’s imminent arrival from ACBF provides some reinforcement, but losing Rosa would undoubtedly impact the team’s offensive capabilities significantly. The coming days will be crucial in determining whether Jaén can maintain its competitive edge for the remainder of the season.
