Spain’s Preliminary Squad for Futsal Euro 2026 Qualifiers Announced

Jesús Velasco, Spain’s national futsal coach, emphasized that his selections prioritize current form over team affiliation. “Since I am not involved in the players’ daily routines, my goal is to choose those who are in the best shape, regardless of their club. To achieve this, I rely heavily on input and advice from their coaches. The final decision will be mine, but I want to use their guidance as much as possible,” he explained.

In this context, Velasco announced a preliminary squad of 30 players. These players, selected for their fitness and form, will prepare for the two Main Round matches of the 2026 Euro Cup qualifiers. Spain will face Switzerland in Bern on December 12 and Bosnia-Herzegovina in Cartagena on December 17.
