Caedrel Assembles Los Ratones 2025: A Pro League Roster Like No Other

Caedrel, one of the most prominent League of Legends streamers, has assembled a professional team featuring a mix of seasoned veterans and unconventional picks, promising an entertaining show on stage.

After surpassing Riot’s official broadcasts in viewership during Worlds 2024, Caedrel solidified his spot at the top of Twitch. Drawing a peak of around 400,000 concurrent viewers, he joined the ranks of only a few creators to achieve such numbers.

Beyond hosting a League of Legends award show in December, Caedrel revealed his plans for a pro roster under the banner Los Ratones, blending proven talent with high-risk choices.

Los Ratones 2025 Roster:

The team includes bold moves like Nemesis returning to pro play, Rekkles taking a spot in Europe, and Thebausffs joining despite his controversial “inting” playstyle. Caedrel even stated he aims to refine Thebausffs’ approach into a strategy that can secure wins.

For context, Thebausffs has faced bans for his intentional playstyle, so it’s unclear how this will translate in a professional league. Meanwhile, Velja, a top-rated Challenger jungler, is relatively unknown compared to the rest but could gain LEC attention through this opportunity.

League Plans and Challenges

While Caedrel hasn’t confirmed the exact ERL region for Los Ratones, he plans for them to compete in Europe. Though he considered starting a streamer league or entering North America’s NACL, logistical challenges and time zone issues shifted his focus back to Europe.

Given the team’s roster and player locations, the NLC seems like the most suitable option. Rekkles, who expressed a preference for staying close to family after a year in Korea, may favor a league with reliable internet connectivity near home.

With ERL regions facing financial struggles and declining interest, Caedrel’s involvement could rejuvenate the scene and attract more viewers to EMEA’s tier 2 leagues.
