Sporting’s coach, Nuno Dias, attended the Portuguese Football Federation’s Gala Quinas de Ouro, where he reflected on his 12-year tenure with Sporting and the legacy he has helped build. Looking ahead to the UEFA Futsal Champions League Elite Round, where Sporting will face SC Braga in the same group, Dias acknowledged that it’s unfortunate for Portuguese futsal, as it reduces the chance of both teams making the final four. Despite a challenging draw, Dias emphasized the advantage of hosting the Elite Round at João Rocha and noted that while Sporting is currently not at full strength, they are prepared for the tough competition ahead.
