FaZe Zooma’s $100K Tournament Series Kicks Off Black Ops 6 Season with CDL Pros

To mark the launch of Black Ops 6 and the upcoming Call of Duty League (CDL) season, FaZe Zooma has introduced a $100,000 tournament series featuring CDL pros.

With the 2025 CDL season just around the corner, roster updates are taking shape after an intense Rostermania period. Notably, Scrappy and Envoy left Toronto, while HyDra moved from Cloud 9 to join Ghosty on a new LA Thieves “super team.” OpTic Texas and Atlanta FaZe, after strong performances last season, retained their rosters. Meanwhile, Minnesota, New York, and Vancouver are still finalizing theirs, promising a competitive season even beyond the traditional top three teams.

While players won’t be able to compete with their full CDL rosters in FaZe Zooma’s event, they’ll team up with their AR or SMG partners.

The $100,000 prize pool will span three tournaments, with $25,000 awarded in each. The tournament setup includes 12 teams with AR and SMG duos from across the league, such as the “Tiny Terrors” pairing of Simp and aBeZy alongside an AR duo from another squad.

All matches will stream live on Zooma’s Twitch channel.

Schedule:

Teams will be selected live on Zooma’s Twitch at 6 p.m. PST / 9 p.m. EST. The map pool and available weapons haven’t been confirmed, though likely maps include Vault, Pyback, Vorkuta, and Skyline. Current weapon favorites are the Model L, GPR 91, PP-919, and Jackal PDW, despite some pros like Dashy and Shotzzy criticizing the season’s map pool.
