Caedrel’s LoL Worlds 2024 co-streams skyrocket him to the top of Twitch

Caedrel has established himself as one of the most prominent streamers on Twitch, dominating the Amazon-owned platform. While he may not be pulling in millions of viewers at once or breaking viewership records, he has consistently drawn hundreds of thousands of viewers for his Worlds 2024 co-streams over the past month.

He regularly surpasses Riot’s official stream and other major co-streamers like Ibai, whose channel has long been a fan favorite. Impressively, Caedrel has become the go-to stream for many League of Legends fans during the year’s biggest international tournament. This is even more notable given that Ibai owns a team that competed at the event and has shattered Twitch records with events like La Velada Del Año.

Caedrel peaked with over 300,000 concurrent viewers during G2’s match against Bilibili Gaming, solidifying his position as the top streamer on Twitch at that moment. For comparison, Kai Cenat’s peak viewership over the past month was around 247,000.

Caedrel is not only the biggest streamer in League of Legends but one of the largest on Twitch overall. Leading the platform’s charts for the last month according to Twitch Tracker metrics.

In that time, he’s streamed an astonishing 258 hours. Covering nearly every minute of Worlds, providing pre- and post-match analysis, and streaming even on break days. As he would say, “mega pace.” However, there’s a clear difference in viewership on match days versus non-match days, with his viewership skyrocketing during the tournament.

On break days, he still pulls impressive numbers, often nearing 30,000 viewers. Though this pales in comparison to the hundreds of thousands who tune in for Worlds matches.

The 2024 World Championship is on track to break viewership records, with a peak of 3 million viewers so far—excluding numbers from China, where League of Legends enjoys immense popularity. Still, the tournament has yet to reach the 6.4 million viewer peak set by the grand final of Worlds 2023, which remains the most-watched esports event in history.
