Following their decision to part ways with mid laner Fresskowy after their early exit from Worlds 2024, they are in need of a new mid laner.

Now, MAD is looking to make improvements in the off-season, particularly in their solo lanes. Both Myrwn and Fresskowy struggled during the tournament. While there’s a possibility that MAD will stick with their top laner and try to refine his unconventional playstyle, they are definitely on the hunt for a new mid laner.
That’s where jojopyun comes in. With rumors swirling about his departure from Cloud9, he’s one of the hottest prospects for the mid lane role, having delivered standout performances regardless of his team’s overall results.
Jojopyun has been regarded as NA’s best mid laner since 2022.
Rather than keeping their recruitment efforts quiet, MAD Lions KOI have made the unusual move of publicly expressing their desire to sign him. Reven went on to assure that with the right performance, jojopyun would earn far more in Europe than he ever could in NA.
