During the BLAST Premier Counter-Strike 2 tournament, G2’s pro player NiKo punched a hole in the table after narrowly missing a clutch moment against Team Vitality. His frustration left the table damaged and his hand bleeding, but he continued playing through the match.
In a high-stakes Semifinal between G2 and Team Vitality, everything hinged on the final map of Mirage. With the score tied at 1-1, G2 faced a deficit, and NiKo had the chance to win the round with an ace. Despite being down to just 24 HP, he was one kill away from clutching the round when he missed a crucial headshot.
Frustrated, NiKo slammed the table, leaving a dent and injuring his hand. Despite the injury, he continued playing without calling for a pause, pushing through to a dramatic G2 victory.
G2 managed to force the match into overtime and eventually secured the win against one of the top CS2 teams. As NiKo famously said afterward, “I’m f**king bleeding and killing, let’s go.”
Though the victory didn’t come with a trophy, NiKo claimed a unique souvenir: the broken table itself.
With the win, G2 earned their spot in the Grand Final, proving they have what it takes to go all the way. Next time, though, NiKo might need a stronger table.
