Eléctrico is slowly revealing their team for the 2024/2025 season and took to social media to share an unexpected signing: Fernandinho, formerly with Sporting de Paris, has agreed to join the Ponte de Sor club.
The 41-year-old pivot spent the 2023/2024 season in France following a brief stint at Sporting de Paris. The Brazilian has previously played for Kairat and FF Napoli, and left Benfica after making a notable impact with over 30 goals in three seasons.
His career also includes time with São Paulo, Grêmio Barueri, Ulbra, Prone Lugo FS, Dynamo Moskva, and Joinville. Among his achievements, he has won a World Cup, a Portuguese league title, four Russian league titles, a Kazakhstan league title, and a Club World Cup.
