The goalkeepers selected are Beatriz Parron (Futsi Atletico Navalcarnero) and Teresa Juve (Feme Castellon), while the defenders include Blanca Ibanez (LBTL Alcantarilla) and Antia Martinez (Bloques Cando Castro). Wingers are Carmen Maria Garcia (STV Roldan) and Aina Torrents (AE Les Corts UBAE), along with Lucia Rodriguez and Miriam Serrano (MRB Mostoles), Africa Lozano (Nueces de Ronda Atletico Torcal), Marina Escaño (Wanapix Alderis Intersala 10), and Maria Valverde (LBTL Alcantarilla). The centers are Paola Lopez (Gran Canaria Teldeportivo), Claudia Gomez (MRB Mostoles), and Paula Guix (AE Les Corts UBAE). These 14 players have been called up by Jordi Gay, the new U21 women’s coach, for the training camp from August 18 to 24.
During these seven days, Jordi Gay’s squad will play two matches against Primera Iberdrola teams: Arriva AD Alcorcón on August 22 (20:30) at Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, and MRB Móstoles on August 23 (20:00) at Eva Manguán in the southern Madrid town.
In addition to the two matches, the team will also have six training sessions under Jordi Gay’s direction during the camp.
