Riga has significantly impacted ATP Tudelano’s sports plans by activating Ángel Claudino’s release clause. The Argentine winger, poised to lead the Ribera de Navarra club’s project in his second season, was bought out for 30,000 euros by the Latvian champions. Claudino was one of the key signings intended to offset the departure of Portuguese star Ricardinho. Despite previous rejections of offers from Italian futsal, President Ramon Lazaro was unable to prevent Claudino’s exit. This move concludes Claudino’s six-season tenure in Spain, where he played for Palma Futsal, Servigroup Peñíscola, Wanapix Zaragoza, and Albali Valdepeñas Vineyard.

Anticipating Claudino’s likely departure, ATP Tudelano had already signed pivot Eric Pérez from ElPozo Murcia Costa Cálida. Although Claudino’s exit won’t spark further activity in the summer transfer market for Tudelano, the club has been busy with ten new signings. His departure also helps balance the team, making room for youth player Alberto Lahuerta, who returns from his loan at Martorell in the Second Division. Riga is gearing up for the UEFA Futsal Champions League, despite losing Ricardinho, who is considering offers from Italy and Saudi Arabia, and missing out on Rocha, who joined L-84 in Italy’s Serie A.

The team, led by Portuguese Tiago Polido, has made four new signings to strengthen their squad. Latvian champion Kiki Vaporaki has also left, but Riga has compensated by bringing in three Brazilians: goalkeeper Vandeson (Carlos Barbosa), defender Rafa Felix (Sporting de Portugal), and center Guilhermao (Nagoya Oceans of Japan). While renewing the contract of Argentine Dylan Vargas. Additionally, they have retained left-wingers Serguinho and Daniel Airoso. Along with versatile player Thales, for whom they have turned down offers from Spanish and Russian futsal teams.
