Portugal’s 2024 World Cup Preparation Schedule
The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) confirmed the 2024 World Cup preparation schedule on Monday, noting one change from the initial plan. Originally, Portugal was set to face Libya in the preparation camp, but that match has been replaced with a game against Cuba on August 22 in Viseu.
Portugal will begin their training camp in Rio Maior, playing their first two matches there. On August 16 and 17, they will compete against Uzbekistan and Angola, respectively. The second phase of the camp will be in Viseu, where Portugal will play against Cuba (August 22), Costa Rica (August 23), and Ukraine (August 25). The final phase of the camp will see Portugal return to Rio Maior for two friendlies against Paraguay on September 2 and 4.
