Since its inception in 2021, the World Series of Warzone has been a premier tournament for Call of Duty battle royale players. The 2023 edition marked the first time it was held in person with spectators, offering a trophy for the champions. Held in London, the 2023 trios competition was won by Biffle, Sage, and Shifty, while Skullface claimed victory in the Solo YOLO $100k tournament. Notably, former OpTic Gaming CDL pro Seth ‘Scump’ Abner won a widely celebrated solo match in Verdansk, defeating Aydan in the final 1v1.

The 2024 World Series of Warzone Global Finals will be held in Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena on September 14th and 15th. All matches can be watched on the official Call of Duty YouTube or Twitch channels.
Format & Map for World Series of Warzone
The World Series of Warzone will take place on Urzikstan, differing from the usual ranked play modes on Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep.
Qualification Format
- 40 trios worldwide earned a spot in the Global Finals through a qualification period.
- Day 1: Six matches determine the WSOW point advantage for each trio for the second day.
- Day 2: Points are awarded based on eliminations and placement. Once a team reaches 100 points, it must win an additional match to secure victory, allowing other teams to catch up until a final game win.
WSOW 2024 Prize Pool
The total prize pool for 2024 is $1 million, all allocated to the LAN Global Finals, with $50,000 set aside for the Solo YOLO tournament. Here’s the breakdown for the remaining $950k:
