Valorant Champions 2024 Bundle: Phantom and Melee Features Revealed

Riot Games has unveiled the features and effects of the Valorant Champions 2024 Phantom and melee weapons included in the bundle, which will be released on August 1.

Over the years, Champions bundles have offered unique effects that justify their high price, and the 2024 edition is no exception.

The new tournament-specific cosmetics will feature special kill banners at the bottom of the screen, tracking player kills per round by filling in the VCT logo. Achieving an ace will fully illuminate the logo.

The VCT logo on the back of the gun will track the player’s kills throughout the match, filling in part of the design every three eliminations, up to 24 kills.

The Champions aura is also making a return, causing the Phantom skin to glow when the player holding it has the most kills in the lobby. If the VCT logo is filled in and the player is the kill leader, the skin will gain a gold finish similar to the Valorant Champions trophy.

The Phantom’s finisher is a spectacle, showcasing every enemy the player has killed in a “supernova explosion” alongside the Champions trophy.

Players can also shoot the asteroids spawned by the finisher and stand inside it to pose under the trophy.

You can even lift the trophy.

The bundle also includes a katana melee weapon. Knife will receive the same Champions aura and cracked gold texture as the Phantom. When the player is the lobby kill leader and has 24 eliminations.

The melee weapon also features a unique inspect animation and right-click function, setting it apart from other katanas in Valorant.

The bundle is expected to cost 6167 Valorant Points, or about $65, according to leaks. individual prices within the bundle are as follows:

  • Phantom: 2675 VP
  • Melee: 5350 VP
  • Spray: 325 VP
  • Gun Buddy: 475 VP
  • Player Card: 375 VP

Riot Games has not confirmed these prices at the time of writing.
