Córdoba World Heritage Site has finalized the transfer of Brazilian left-winger Anderson Alves Carneiro da Silva, known as Pulinho, to Shenzhen Nanling, the reigning champions of the Chinese Super League. Despite multiple offers for the talented player, Córdoba’s president, José García Román, skillfully negotiated a transfer fee of nearly 30,000 euros. These funds could be pivotal in strengthening the 2024-25 squad with a prolific power forward.

Several top-tier teams showed interest in Pulinho’s transfer, but Belgian side Anderlecht withdrew from the race and opted to sign Raúl Jiménez from Real Betis. Pulinho’s departure was confirmed towards Shenzhen Nanling, managed by Spanish coach Jose Maria Pazo, Pulpis, securing the player who had made clear his intention to leave Córdoba after two seasons.

Córdoba’s new coach, Argentine Ema Santoro, has been proactive in finding Pulinho’s replacement. Tiago Macedo, a promising left-winger on loan from Sporting CP, has been confirmed as the new addition. At 20, Macedo is celebrated as one of Portugal’s most promising talents, having led his team to victory in the European Under-19 Championship in 2023. He made his debut with Sporting before turning 17, scoring in a UEFA Futsal Champions League match. On social media, Macedo expressed his bittersweet departure from Sporting, stating, “After 11 years, I am leaving the club of my heart. This is not a goodbye, but a see you soon.” He brings with him an impressive record, including three Liga Placards, a Copa, and a Taça.
