Jaén Paraíso Interior has confirmed the acquisition of Eric Panés. The Andalusian club has finalized an agreement with Family Cash Alzira for the federative rights of the 22-year-old Catalan pivot. Panés, who hails from Barcelona, has signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional two seasons. Initially, he will be loaned to Polish champions Rekord Bielsko-Biala, managed by Barcelona coach Chus López, and will face Jimbee Cartagena in the UEFA Futsal Champions League Main Round. This signing follows the recent addition of Madrid wing-half Daniel de la Peña, also known as Dela, from Unión África Ceutí.

Jaén’s sporting director, Nicolás Sabariego, regards Eric Panés as a promising future asset. Panés began his career at Sabadell and progressed through the ranks at Industrias Santa Coloma. He played for Martorell in the Second Division and most recently for Family Cash Alzira. Where an injury limited him to 19 games and one goal last season. Despite having one free player slot available, Jaén opted not to use it. Confident in their pivot options with Argentine internationals Alan Brandi and Mati Rosa, and Cristian Rubio (Unión África Ceutí, 27) expected to play as a false pivot.

five signings

Jaén Paraíso Interior has now made a total of five signings. The team has strengthened its defense with Venezuelan Carlos ‘Petaré’ Sanz (28) and Brazilian left-winger Giancarlos Antoniazzi (Córdoba World Heritage Site), both signed until 2026. To replace Pablo del Moral’s move to the Caliphate team, they have brought in Alejandro Lemine (Real Betis, 32) on a two-year contract. The latest addition is Franklin Cavalcante (33), who returns to Spain after winning the League and Cup with Kuwait Club, having previously played for ElPozo Murcia, Jimbee Cartagena, and in leagues in Russia, Portugal, and Italy.

Additionally, Jaén has renewed Joao Salla’s contract for two seasons following his impressive winter market performance. With ongoing contracts for Míchel (2029), Espindola, Dudú, Dani Lefty (2025), Chino, Alan Brandi (2026), Renato (2026 plus one optional), and Mati Rosa (2027), the club might still make one final move. Nicolás Sabariego has shown interest in Fits, who is currently negotiating his termination with Movistar Inter.
