Kick streamer Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa has ventured into esports, joining fellow content creators Disguised Toast and MoistCr1TiKaL.
On June 20, the well-known adult content creator and streamer announced that she is now a co-owner of Houston-based Wildcard Gaming.
John Griffin, the other co-owner of Wildcard, expressed his enthusiasm about Amouranth’s involvement, noting that with the esports industry stabilizing after several turbulent years, this was the “right time to make a move.”
“It’s time… Boss moves only @Wildcard_GG #stackthedeck,” Amouranth tweeted on June 20, 2024.
“Kaitlyn is not just a massive personality; she is an incredibly smart businesswoman. She is thoughtful and calculated, just as we are. Her impact on our organization will be immediate,” Griffin said.
Amouranth will help expand the organization’s presence in North America by promoting a new men’s and women’s apparel line across her extensive social media platforms. Additionally, she will host watch parties for Season 2 of the Rainbow 6 Pro League. With her new investment, the team also plans to develop a performance center and office space in Texas.
Amouranth had been eyeing involvement in esports for some time.
“I’ve always had my eye on esports,” Siragusa stated. “I’ve admired what other creators like Disguised Toast and MoistCr1TiKaL have done with their own organizations. After speaking with various orgs and conducting research, Wildcard felt like the best opportunity to help shape a growing organization.”
Speculation about the announcement began on June 17 when Amouranth posted a teaser trailer on social media, hinting at a major reveal. The trailer showed her reviewing a contract with many redactions, but it contained several esports clues, including references to Bandit and Mozzie, characters from Rainbow 6, and her hometown of Houston, where Wildcard is based.
This move is the latest in a series of business ventures for Amouranth, who has previously launched an AI for creating custom fantasy content, started her own beer line, and purchased multiple gas stations.
