The Complete Guide to 2024 League of Legends Roster Changes in LCS and LEC

The 2024 League of Legends regular season is underway, but roster news hasn’t stopped. With the LCS in chaos due to the 2025 downsizing and several LEC teams making member swaps, there’s much to catch up on for Summer. Record-breaking Worlds 2023 viewership was followed by the LCS cutting down from 10 teams to 6 by 2025. Evil Geniuses and Golden Guardians are out, letting go of all their players. However, Shopify Rebellion joins the LCS, acquiring TSM’s spot in a $10 million deal. Summer 2024 is crucial for teams to prove their worth.

Meanwhile, the LEC remains stable with 10 teams and several Korean imports joining SK, GIANTX, and KCorp. The article below details every roster change leading to the 2024 lineups and all updates since the 2024 LoL competitive year began.
