Fortnite professional and Twitch streamer Bucke was expelled from DreamHack Dallas after crossing a barrier and touching a displayed Porsche without permission.
Primarily known as a Fortnite streamer, Bucke has been a professional player for years and is currently signed with Agent for the FNCS 2024. His participation at DreamHack Dallas was cut short, however.
Despite being one of the top Fortnite players in North America, Bucke has faced ejections from LAN events before, including being kicked out of the FNCS 2023 LAN. The same fate befell him at DreamHack Dallas.
While streaming from the event, an officer approached Bucke and ordered him to leave.
He later addressed the incident on Twitter/X, saying, “I’d like to apologize for what I did today, I went too far and broke the rules. Disappointed in myself, I should know better. As I get older, I keep going backwards need to take a step back and really look at my actions. Appreciate everyone stopping by for the streams and sorry to let people down again.” This statement followed a tweet where he jokingly referenced his previous ejection with “2x.”
The incident, where Bucke crossed the barrier and touched the Porsche on display, was captured on his livestream.
Although Bucke did not damage or attempt to steal the car, his actions violated the event’s rules, leading to his expulsion.
The community and his fans have reacted negatively, urging him to “grow up” and condemning his behavior. Furthermore, his actions also led to fellow Fortnite streamer Pilat being barred from the event. Pilat commented on the situation, saying, “Guilty by association I guess.” It is likely that neither will be allowed back for the remainder of DreamHack Dallas.
