Jimbee Cartagena Advances to King’s Futsal Cup Final with Dramatic Last-Second Goal

Jimbee Cartagena secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Jaén Paraíso Interior in the semi-final of the 14th edition of the King’s Futsal Cup. The decisive moment came with just 6 seconds left, as Gabriel Motta netted the winning goal, propelling his team into the final.

The match was intense from the start, with Pablo Ramírez scoring early for Jimbee Cartagena. The first half saw Jaén Paraíso Interior creating several scoring opportunities, particularly in the final three minutes, but Cartagena’s goalkeeper Chemi made impressive saves to maintain the lead.

Jaén’s Brazilian goalkeeper Carlos Espíndola faced pressure from Jimbee Cartagena, especially through attempts by Pablo Ramírez, Izquierdo, and Luçao. Ramírez’s goal in the 15th minute, a precise shot following a corner kick, set the tone for the match.

The final will be held on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the Palacio de los Deportes in San Pablo. The semi-final was witnessed by approximately 4,000 spectators, with around 2,500 cheering for Jaén.
