Minnesota Rokkr is considering adding two prominent figures to their Call of Duty League team for the upcoming Major 3 and beyond, aiming to reverse their current downward trend.
Rokkr garnered attention with a top 4 placement at Major 1 but failed to build on that success in Major 2. Following a challenging split, the team is now seeking to replace two of their key players, Reece ‘Vivid’ Drost and Joseph ‘Owakening’ Conley.
According to multiple sources, Rokkr intends to recruit Eli ‘Standy’ Bentz and Indervir ‘iLLeY’ Dhaliwal.
Standy, formerly with Vegas Legion, was dropped from the team after Major 1. iLLeY, who played for the struggling Seattle Surge, was removed from the starting lineup amid accusations of using Adderall during the first LAN Major in Boston, allegations he promptly refuted online.
Although several sources have confirmed this as the latest strategy, it remains uncertain whether recent CDL roster changes will impact these plans.
On Sunday, March 31, Boston Breach announced the departure of Obaid ‘Asim’ Asim and Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat from the starting roster, rumored to be making way for Ben ‘Beans’ McMellon and Challengers player Nathaniel ‘Pentagrxm’ Thomas from their Academy team.
