On Monday afternoon, the FPF announced the list of 14 players called up by Luís Conceição for the preparation tournament that the national team will hold in Fafe from March 16th to 19th.
During this preparatory phase, the national team is scheduled to face Japan on March 16, Spain on March 17, and Brazil on March 19. For the upcoming match, the coach made only one change. Angélica Alves, who missed the last training camp due to injury despite the initial call-up, once again earned the coach’s trust. As a result, Sofia Carvalhinhos, an Atlético CP player, was left out of the squad.
The Portugal training camp is set to commence on Sunday, March 10th, with the team based in Guimarães. A week of preparation will follow, featuring double training sessions on Monday and Tuesday and single training sessions on the subsequent three days.
