Leões de Porto Salvo continues to tidy up the house with a view to next season. After securing the renewals of Gui Torres and Bruno Pinto, the club announced, this Monday, to have reached an agreement for a new contract with coach Cláudio Moreira.
The 40-year-old coach is in his first full season as head coach but is already in his second year with the Porto Salvo team. In the 2022/23 season, Cláudio Moreira served as an assistant coach to Mário Silva but took charge of the team after the coach left for Benfica. Since then, the former coach of the Reds’ youth teams has been the man at the helm in Oeiras.
This season, Cláudio Moreira has led Leões de Porto Salvo to nine wins in 17 games so far. The team currently occupies fourth place in the Placard League, reached the semi-finals of the League Cup, and qualified for the next phase of the Portuguese Cup last weekend
