Pedro Nobre is back in action. After abandoning the Nun’Álvares team during the last season, the 48-year-old coach was announced this Friday as the new coach of Torreense. A strong choice for a project aiming to establish itself in national women’s futsal, Pedro Nobre takes over from Valter Duarte, who recently departed.
The coach inherits a team that is in first place in the qualifying phase for the first division of AF Lisbon, the reigning champion. With a background in both male and female futsal, Pedro Nobre has earned a reputation as one of the most respected coaches in national women’s futsal over the last two years.
He guided Nun’Álvares and led the Fafenses to win two trophies—Taça da Liga and Taça de Portugal—both in the 2021/22 season. The challenge now is different, as he aims to elevate Torreense to the highest levels.
