Alberto Saura: “Jimbee is the club where I have always wanted to be”

Despite having debuted on Tuesday in the Copa del Rey tie against ElPozo Murcia (5-0), the center of La Union, who turns 29 on Monday, experienced his official presentation as a new player of Jimbee Cartagena yesterday. He was accompanied by Miguel Ángel Jiménez Bosque, president of the entity; José Larrosa, CEO of Agriverdes, the sponsoring entity of the red and white team; and its coach, Eduardo Sao Thiago Lentz ‘Duda.’

Thanks from the former Sporting Anderlecht player, the club that has loaned him to return to the Region of Murcia: “I was fine there, but when they called me from Cartagena. I did not hesitate at any time. I wanted to come, and I did everything possible to make it happen. It was a matter of hours, from one night to another. I come to help, try to improve the team, and continue winning things, which is the dream of all the people of Cartagena and Jimbee.”

One more ‘soldier’ for Duda: “I’m coming to help the team; I’m going to be involved in everything I can. I’m going to give everything for the club because it’s the club from my homeland, where I’ve always wanted to be. At the moment, it’s six months, but I hope to be here for many more.”

The experience in Belgium allows Saura to proclaim the importance of Jimbee Cartagena in the European indoor football scene: “Cartagena is already great. In the teams that I have been, even outside of Spain, there is a lot of talk about Jimbee Cartagena. And seeing first-hand the club and the entire work behind it makes us appreciate even more how great it is.
