Futsal: Joao Salla, second signing of Jaèn

Joao Salla, a 27-year-old Brazilian striker with Italian nationality, has become Jaèn second signing. Despite his age, Salla brings a wealth of experience, having played for Carlos Barbosa, Joinville, and Intelli in his home country, as well as for Svarog TC Teplice in the Czech Republic and, in recent seasons, for Ciampino Aniene in Italy.

“I’m very happy that everything went well. It is a huge achievement to arrive in Spain for the first time and wear the Jaén Paraso Interior shirt – a team with a strong fan base,” declared Joao Salla to the official media of the Jaén club.

He joins Arnon Cassemiro, also 27 years old, who recently joined the Spanish League from the Hungarian side Halads. Before this move, Cassemiro played for the Brazilian Intelli and Guarapuava, for the Slovenian Litja in 2020-21, and in 2021-22 for the Italian Came Dosson.

Moreover, it’s essential to note that Jaén Paraso Interior loaned Cape Verdean Hélder Gonalves to O Parrulo Ferrol. Gonalves barely played in the 13 games under Javi Rodríguez.

On another note, Javi Rodríguez’s team will play five friendlies during the national team break: on January 24 in Beas de Segura, on the 25th in Torredelcampo, on the 31st in Chillevar, on February 2 they will face Quesos El Hidalgo Manzanares, and on the 7th against Real Betis Futsal.
