The Czech Republic calls up a Portuguese player

This Friday, Tomas Neumann, the Czech coach, announced the list of 15 players called up for the team’s upcoming official commitments. One name stands out on the list: Francisco Mikus.

A former university international for Portugal, the Portuguese winger has been playing in Czech futsal since the summer of 2022. He began by signing for Sparta Praha and in the last offseason, he moved to champions Interobal Plzen, where he has been performing exceptionally.

The upcoming challenge for him is representing the Czech Republic. The scheduled games are on the 15th (against Spain) and 20th (against Slovenia) at home. Wearing the Czech jersey will be a Portuguese player: Francisco Mikus.
